Washington State University Card FAQs 

October 1, 2019, is the official launch date of the BECU WSU Visa^® Credit Card.

You can switch your credit card design using one of three easy ways:

1. Visit any of our locations

2. Send us a secure message through Online Banking or the BECU mobile app

3. Call us at 800-233-2328

New to BECU?
Apply for the BECU Visa in-person at any of our Neighborhood Financial Centers. In order to submit an online application, you'll first need to apply for BECU membership and enroll in Online Banking. Once you've set up Online Banking, you can apply after you log in. Be sure to select the WSU design during your application process.

Current BECU member?
Simply log in to Online Banking and select Apply for Credit Cards & Loans from tabbed options. Choose the WSU design as your preferred credit card.

If your application is approved and all required documents have been obtained, your credit card will arrive in the mail within 5-7 business days. You will receive a PIN in a separate mailing within 7-10 business days.

Not at this time; the BECU WSU Visa® Credit Card is only for consumer credit lines.

Current Members

You can order the new design three easy ways:

1. Visit any of our locations: WSU Debit Mastercards can be printed instantly at a BECU Neighborhood Financial Center

2. Send us a secure message through Online Banking or the BECU mobile app (your new card will arrive in the mail in 7-10 business days)

3. Call us at 800-233-2328

Future Member

You'll first need to be a BECU member. Membership is free, and millions of people are eligible to join BECU.

• Note that you'll need to open a savings and checking account. You can open an account online or at any of our NFCs  (subject to account approval).

Not at this time. WSU Debit Mastercard is only for regular (consumer) checking accounts.
