Video Banking: In-Person Support Wherever You Are
Our video banking service provides members with one-on-one support from a consultant. Get help with most of the same services we offer at any of our locations — from anywhere with internet access.
We're committed to improving access to our services for all members, no matter their situation. With video banking, you now have an alternative way to bank in person when you're unable to come in to a BECU location.

How To Access Video Banking
Video banking appointments are offered Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pacific Time. Choose to connect with a consultant on demand, or make an appointment for a later date.
To verify your identity when you join a video banking session, we'll ask to see your ID as part of the authentication process.
Make an Appointment- Navigate to the Video Banking page.
- Scroll to the Get Started section and select Schedule an Appointment. Note: Appointments are available from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. All hours Pacific Time.
- Select the service you're interested in and follow the on-screen prompts.
- We'll send you an email with a link you'll click to join your scheduled video banking session.
Access On-Demand
- Navigate to the Video Banking page.
- Read the disclosure and, if you agree, click I Consent.
- Click Start Video Banking.
- Click Join Engagement Now.
- Allow access to your microphone and camera.
- A video banking consultant will join your call (there may be a short wait).*
- Click End to hang up.
*Wait times for on-demand sessions may vary depending on how many members we are assisting at the time.
Frequently Asked Questions
You can access nearly all of the same services through a video banking appointment as you can at an in-person appointment.
- Open new accounts (including Business accounts and Early Saver youth savings accounts).
- Apply for loans (including loan inquiries).
- Apply for credit cards.
- Complete a Financial Health Check session.
- Make general account inquiries (e.g., explanations of account changes, personalized recommendations, etc.).
- Access your Online Banking profile if you're locked out.
Notary services and Medallion Signature Guarantees cannot be completed through video banking because they require in-person signatures. Visit a BECU location to complete these requests.
Video banking calls are encrypted and secure to help ensure your privacy. Please use only trusted networks for video banking sessions, avoid using public Wi-Fi and choose a private location for your session. Learn more about protecting yourself from digital security threats.

- Have at least 2.6 Mbps bandwidth (recommended). Note: Most internet service providers (ISPs) provide a “speed test” feature on their website.

Yes, you can join from any mobile device, tablet, laptop, desktop, etc. Just be sure you have access to a camera and microphone, and have a secure, stable internet connection.*

We recently added Saturday hours and are testing ways to offer video banking services in Spanish. As member interest and video banking usage increases, we may continue to expand the range of services offered.
