How We Can Help

As a financial cooperative, BECU is committed to the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" — especially in times of need. We have a range of services to help you during a layoff or income loss, including: 

  • Payment Relief Assistance: You may qualify for short-term payment relief and/or term modifications on your BECU loans and credit cards.
  • Mortgage Assistance: You may be eligible for temporary suspension on your monthly mortgage payments or a loan modification.
  • Debt and Credit Counseling: Members have access to free, personalized financial and debt management counseling through our partner, GreenPath Financial Wellness.
  • Financial Health Check: A free, one-on-one session to help you create an action plan for savings, budgeting and debt management.
  • 401(k) Options Review: BECU Investment Services advisors are available to talk about rollovers and other options.
