Budgeting Life Lessons

BECU is a proud sponsor of Cougar Money Matters. The program offers a matched savings program and emergency aid to students in financial crisis. Additionally, BECU supports the Carson College of Business and its coursework helping students learn how to budget for college and beyond. Student-athletes also benefit from BECU's program: We partnered with WSU Athletics to ensure all Cougar athletes have an opportunity to attend these real-world money management classes.

BECU Scholars: Washington State University Scholarships

BECU annually provides $2,000 scholarships to 20 (or more) WSU sophomores, juniors and seniors who have demonstrably overcome challenges to attend college or are at risk of non-completion due to financial or other life challenges.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

BECU is the official FinTech Sponsor of the Carson College of Business' Business Plan Competition, an opportunity to practice entrepreneurship in a real-world setting. WSU student-participants receive mentoring, valuable networking, and a chance to win prize money as they build momentum to launch their venture.

Week of Welcome (WOW): BECU is proud to sponsor signature events welcoming students back to the Pullman campus each fall, including Convocation, Move-In Day, and an All-Campus Picnic.

WSU Families: BECU is also thrilled to support WSU's annual competition to recognize outstanding family members of WSU students. Each fall and spring, students nominate relatives for their love and support. BECU executives are on hand at each celebration to announce the award winners. There is rarely a dry eye in the room!
