How to Access Your BECU Rewards Account Online:

  1. Log in to Online Banking using your existing credentials. If you don't have a login, create one here.
  2. Navigate to your Visa Credit Card.
  3. Click Access BECU Rewards under “Rewards.”

$25 Annual Participation Fee

How to Earn Points

Earn one point for every dollar you spend on qualifying purchases. Redeem those points for a reward that fits your lifestyle – travel, gift cards, merchandise, or even cash back.

Redeem for rewards with as few as 100 points. There are no tiers to meet and no limit to how much you can earn.

Points are earned on retail purchases only. Points aren't earned on cash transactions, including but not limited to cash advances, convenience checks and balance transfers.

When you choose to redeem your points for gift cards, merchandise, charity or cash back, every point equals one cent ($0.01) toward the purchase price.

When you choose to redeem your points for airline travel, every point redeemed equals one and one quarter of a cent ($0.0125) towards the airline ticket purchase price.

How to Redeem Points

Redeem your points by shopping on BECU Rewards accessible via Online Banking anytime or by calling Rewards Customer Service at 1-855-436-1743, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Your accumulated points are updated daily based on your spending.

Available point balances, including pending redemptions, are updated in real time and reflect account activity through both BECU Rewards accessible via Online Banking and the Rewards call center.

Don't have enough points to cover an entire purchase? You have the option to pay completely in points, use a combination of points and your BECU credit card, or use your BECU credit card to pay for the whole purchase.

What You Can Purchase with Your Points

When you choose to redeem your points for gift cards, merchandise, charity or cash back, every point equals one cent ($0.01) toward the purchase price.

When you choose to redeem your points for airline travel, every point redeemed equals one and one quarter of a cent ($0.0125) towards the airline ticket purchase price.  

Gift Cards

As low as 2,500 points


 Gift cards are available for a variety of popular brands including clothing stores, restaurants, gas and grocery stores. Gift cards never expire. 

Members can redeem for as low as 2,500 points, or a $25 value.

  • 2,500 points = $25 value  
  • 5,000 points = $50 value
  • 10,000 points = $100 value

Merchandise

Charitable Donations

Through BECU Rewards, you can purchase a giving gift card for CharityChoice. CharityChoice gift cards connect donors to more than two million charities operating all over the globe. On www.charitygiftcertificates.org, you can redeem your gift card to support the cause that is most meaningful to you.

Cash Back

As low as 100 points

Simply use your BECU credit card to make purchases and earn points. Once the purchases have posted to your credit card account and your points have been updated, you can access your rewards through BECU Rewards using your existing online banking credentials.

Choose how much cash you'd like to redeem (a minimum of $1 or 100 points), and the website will tell you how many points you need. Points will be deducted from your rewards account and a credit to your BECU Visa® account will be processed within 30 days.

Please note that cash back credits to your account will reduce the amount owed on your  credit card (just like a return to a merchant), but will not apply toward your minimum payment due. If your balance is $0, the cash back credits will apply toward future purchases.

Travel Rewards

Pay for hotels, resorts, car rentals, cruises, vacation deals and activities using points.

While you search BECU Rewards, you'll be able to see the cost of the booking in both points and dollars. Choose whether to pay using points only, points and your BECU credit card, or using only your credit card.

Airline Travel

As low as 10,000 points

Choose to redeem points for the entire cost of an airline ticket, or pay using a combination of points and your BECU credit card.

There are no restrictions: no 21-day advance purchase, no Saturday night stay, and no round-trip requirements. 

Each point equals one and one quarter of a cent ($0.0125) toward an airline ticket purchase price.
To determine how many points a ticket will cost, divide the ticket cost in dollars by .0125. For example, a ticket that costs $400 will require 32,000 points ($400 / .0125 = 32,000 points).

A minimum of 10,000 points is required to redeem for airline tickets. If you'd like to purchase an airline ticket that costs less than $140, you may want to consider redeeming for cash back and purchasing the ticket on your credit card, using the cash back credits. 

Please remember that in order to redeem points for airline tickets, you must use the BECU Rewards accessible via Online Banking, or call BECU Rewards Customer Service at 1-855-436-1743.  

Credit Card Cancellation and Point Expiration

If You Cancel Your Credit Card, You Will Lose Your Points

Your account must be open and in good standing in order to redeem points. Accumulated points will be forfeited upon cancellation of your BECU Rewards option or closure of your credit card account. If you switch to our Cash Back Visa, your points will be automatically applied to your statement at a 1% cash value. Be sure you redeem all your points before your close your account. Remember, gift cards never expire, so those are good options if you're not sure what to buy.

Points Valid for Five Years

Unredeemed points will expire five years from the date they are earned. Accumulated points are redeemed on a first-in, first-out basis.
