Initiate a Wire Payment
Step 1: Request access to business online wires by completing the online request form. You may also visit a BECU location near you to fill out and submit a paper domestic wires request form.
Step 2: Once set-up, sign into Business Online Banking.
Step 3: Set up at least two users in Administration > User Management who can draft and/or approve wires (required for Dual Control).2
Step 4: Wire Drafter: In the menu, select Cash Management > External Payments.
Step 5: Click, New Payment then select Domestic Wire.
Step 6: Add Payee information.
Step 7: Finalize wire draft.
Step 8: Wire approver: In the menu, select Transactions/Activity Center.
Step 9: Select Wire then click Approve and Confirm.
There is a $20 fee for an online wire transfer.
Currently, you can only send domestic wire transfers.

1BECU does not charge a monthly fee for these services, but an outgoing wire fee will be applied per wire. Other financial institutions that process the incoming wire may also charge a fee. BECU does not charge a fee for incoming wires or returned wires. The outgoing wire fee will post as a separate transaction and will debit from the same account that the wire is drawn from.
