Meet the Ones Who Go the Extra Mile

At BECU, we like to say we're about more than just money. We stay active in our local communities and strive to educate and inform our members about forming good financial habits throughout their lives. But there's a lot that goes into this behind the scenes. We're big believers in practicing what we preach. By going the extra mile for our members at every turn, our employees embody everything BECU stands for. We're honoring their accomplishments here with this year's Being BECU awards. 

The award was introduced in 2016 as a way to recognize employees who personify BECU's core values. “A key part of our success is recognizing those who are living, demonstrating and delivering on making a difference,” Porter said. Recipients of the award exemplify BECU's core values: Members First, Do the Right Thing, Know Your Stuff, Be Real, and Own It. Twelve BECU employees were presented with this award during a ceremony held on June 8.
